Close to the Old Town is the olive tree forest with more than 1000 trees. In the region of Mitrovica, is one of the oldest trees in the world, more than 2000 years old. In 1963 the tree was announced as a Natural Monument which is protected by our country.

DAY 3 – Heartland of Montenegro

In this unique adventure we are going to explore the magic world of the underground and famous historical but also the natural region with good wine and dish specialties and stunning nature sight scenes. The cave is located 5km from Cetinje, under the viewpoint of Belvedere, and has 2.5km long passages rich in stalactites and other ornaments rarely seen in other caves. Lipa cave represents the cave’s natural beauty filled with lakes, and underground streams, and is the first and only tourist show cave in Montenegro at the moment. The tour through the cave is guided by a specialized guide that will present you with a new world that will leave you breathless and refreshed, as you surely guessed that the temperature inside is lower than the outside (constantly between 8 to 12 degrees Celsius). Something that makes this cave even more special is the possibility of having a drink in one of its grandiose halls.

Our journey continues to the very heart of Montenegro, its Old Royal capital Cetinje, and one of the most beautiful mountains and National Parks, Lovcen. In Cetinje, you will have a chance to get acquainted with the history of Montenegro and its old ways during the visits to the National Museum, King Nikola’s Palace, several old embassies, the Monastery, and a few other important locations.

From Cetinje, we continue our journey through the untouched nature of the National Park to the Mausoleum which is settled on the Lovcen’s peak Jezerski vrh (1657m). 461 steps will take you to the ever-resting place of one of Montenegro’s most important rulers and poets, Petar II Petrovic Njegos.

After the Mausoleum, the road will take us to the village of Njegusi, with one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the world and a mandatory photo stop. Apart from that, Njegusi is significant in the traditional cuisine.

On our way back, we are taking the other way around on the famous 25 serpentines (curves). They are an adventure for themselves and with the view of Boka Bay that follows us to the hotel.

DAY 4 – North of Montenegro, canyons, National Parks

On the way between two national parks, in the river Moraca Canyon, we will stop to visit the famous Moraca Monastery from the 13th century with beautiful (Byzantine style) frescoes and collections of icons and old church books.

Biograd Lake is the oldest National Park in Montenegro. It takes 6400ha of the central part of the Bjelasica Mountain, between the rivers Tara and Lim. 80 percent of this area is the woods. This National Park is a rainforest – one of the last three in Europe, with its typical vegetation. The many trees are over 500 years old. The one hundred old trees are 40-50 m high. There are typical mountain trees: oak, maple, the beech, the fir, etc. The bird observers and ornithologists can enjoy the flights of eagles and 150 other bird species. The most famous and the biggest lake in the area is Biogradsko Lake, located in the middle of the park, 1094 m above sea level. The Biogradska Gora is attractive not only for explorers but for the numerous visitors, as well. Take a deep breath and face the unique nature.

DAY 5 – Day at lesiure

Budva is a metropolis of Montenegrin tourism and one of the loudest and most packed towns on the Montenegrin coast during the summer. Its life began on the headland two and a half millennia ago and has poured out of the ramparts towards luxurious yachts, new buildings, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs where amazing fun awaits. The Budva Riviera has sandy, stone, and pebbly beaches, and those that once belonged to the royal family. None of them look alike. There are beaches with reddish, colorful, or gray pebbles. Some of them have stepped into the sea, some are sheltered by the small bays, some are exposed to the Sun, and some are protected with thick pine tree shades. Some are facing the islets. But behind each of them, there is at least one fishing village lurking, ready to provide a nice relaxing day.

Here are some notable beaches in and around Budva:

Slovenska Plaza, one of the largest beaches in Budva, stretches for about 1.6 kilometers. It offers a mix of sandy and pebbly areas, with various beach bars, restaurants, and water sports facilities; Mogren Beach is known for its clean water and scenic surroundings, offering a quieter atmosphere compared to some of the more central beaches; Jaz Beach is located a short drive from Budva. It is a long and spacious sandy beach. It gained international recognition for hosting major music festivals. It’s popular for its clear waters and the opportunity to engage in water sports; Ploče Beach is situated between Budva and Becici. It is a pebble beach surrounded by lush greenery. It provides a more relaxed and less crowded atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a peaceful sunbathing experience; Becici Beach, although a bit south of Budva, Becici Beach is worth mentioning for its long and sandy coastline. It has received awards for its cleanliness and quality, making it a popular choice among both locals and tourists; Milocer Beach, part of the Aman Sveti Stefan resort, is a pristine and exclusive location with clear turquoise waters. While access may be restricted to resort guests, the beach is known for its tranquility and natural beauty.

DAY 6 – Perast, Lady of the Rock, Tivat and Kotor

This day will give you the best that Boka Kotorska can offer. You will walk down the narrow streets of Kotor. Discover the palaces, stories, and legends that hide this charming town.

We will pass alongside the beautiful coast of the bay to a small hidden town called Perast. It is a city museum, a hidden gem of Boka. We will walk down the main promenade and pass alongside the luxurious palaces built during the greatest progress of this city.

Then, have a boat ride to the Lady of the Rock where you will enjoy the island with the stories and legends of how this magnificent island was built.
