Tour Overview

Depart to Ostrog Monastery, one of Montenegro’s most sacred places for Orthodox Christianity. A remarkable art of architecture is nestled up in the hill vertically with a cliff that combined men’s effort and natural terrain to create such a powerful object.

Inside lies the body of Saint Basil Wondermaker who used to comfort people with his spirit for centuries. Even nowadays this is one of the most important places for pilgrims.

After the visit, you are heading to Trubjela, a rural area close to Niksic where we will visit local host Svetozar in his village where we will learn more about the life of local people here.

Our host will prepare a traditional lunch meat under the bell. While we listen to the stories and wait for a delicious meal you will have the opportunity to drink some famous rakija made by our host.

After lunch we will head back to hotel.
