Tour Overview

This tour will combine the oldest National Park Biogradska Gora with authentic local experience in village Lipovo.

You will visit the oldest protected area in Europe put under the protection during the time of King Nicholas in 1878 as state natural reserve area. This is also one of the three remaining wet forest in Europe and very rich natural reserve of virgin forest with trees old more than 400 years.

Highlight of the park is glacial lake located in the heart of the park. Experience the wild beauty of Montenegro followed by the visit to the local rural household.

Nearby park is Lipovo village famous for its special leaf cheese. Centuries old tradition of making cheese will be presented to you by a local host and you will be served authentic Montenegrin food from farm to table.
